Lisu proverbs

Translation: The skin (esp behind its neck) of an alert wild boar become thicker (about 3 inches, Hence it becomes difficult for predators to subdue it.).

Meaning: If you are careful it will be difficult for others to overcome you.

Translation:  Swift (bird) will not stop unless it has a place to rest. 

Meaning: If you have not committed wrong, no spells, allegations will stand.
