On 23 Dec 2012, we were on train no. 12509 (Bangalore - Guwahati), and passing through Howrah and Malda Town. A woman in white dress distributed a leaflet asking for contribution for Thalassaemia patients, under the banner "Thalassaemia Welfare Society". I felt something seems not right. So I took a photo and wanted to find more about that organization.
Since then I totally forgot about that incident. Only yesterday, I got to view on my mobile and searched for that organization. Surprisingly, there were few people arrested for collecting money for that fake organization on 12 June 2008 (
Telegraph).
