Sometimes I meet people who have constant problem of confusion. For over a stretch of several months they struggle to decide on an issue. They cannot decide whether to serve in this ministry or that. Likewise, they cannot decide to take on a job. Years ago, two times a friend waited till the last date before deciding to travel on train (which by then the tickets are not available and had to ask for other's mercy).
Sometimes we are confused but not always. Dangerous thing is when we are not sure always. This will kill us. This should not be.
For believers in Jesus Christ, this isn't an option. Bible clearly says "God is not a good of confusion. He is a god of order". Likewise he guides our way and leads us.
One thing that helps me: When I am confused, pray for wisdom to the One who gives generously to all who asks.
