Aamir Khan on Female Foeticide

On 29 April 2013, I read Time magazine’s The 100 Most Influential people. Aamir Khan is one among them – under the list “Pioneer”. He used his influence as a successful Bollywood star and started producing a reality show “Satyamev Jayate”.

Randomly I selected one of the episodes and watched the topic on “Female Foeticide”. Very sad incidents this country is going through. One of the women presenters had gone through 6 abortions in 8 years of married life because the foetus was female. This is in Hindi so this could be a good tool to teach the value of human being in Hindi spoken areas. 

Difficult to believe but its happening. There are many people in this world who don't care about human lives.

Strangely enough, The Hindu (11 June 2013) reported a 7 year old girl was pushed out of the car by her own father. She sustained serious injuries.
